This album is a musical rendering of glory of Lord Venkatesha extolled by a devotee named Devasharma, as elaborated in Aditya Purana by Sri Vedvyasa.

In essence this is a rags to riches story, like the well known story of Sudama. Rendering starts with Devasharma's wife asking him to visit Tirupati Srinivasa to resolve their earthly difficulties in raising family and feeding children.

However, Devasharma is reluctant to take any break from his intense penance. Out of compassion for the family, Devasharma's Guru Sri Vayudevaru appears and advises him to go on pilgrimage and seek darshana of Lord Srinivasa. Devashrama follows the guidance and attains beautiful lively vision of Lord Srinivasa. In this ecstasy Devasharma composes melodious and touching praise of Srinivasa appearing with Sridevi and Bhoodevi and finally submits at the feet of Srinivasa with intense devotion.

Pleased by the prayer, Lord Srinivasa commends Devasharma for following the advice of Guru PraaNadeva who is very dear to Srinivasa and blesses Devasharma with immense riches and prosperity for generations to come and eventual salvation.

This album is rendered in the melodious voice of Dr Sri Vidyabhushana along with Music by Sri Praadeshachar and team. This album will be released on Aug 25th on the occasion of upcoming Sri Raghavendra Swamy aaraadhane.

Sri Raghavendra Mahatmyam is a collection of Stotras on Rayaru, composed by Sri Gurujagannatha Dasaru. These stotras extol kaaruNya and mahimaa of Rayaru (mercy and greatness), following similar structure as in Sri Venkatesha Mahatmyam in Aditya Purana (released by HDC last year).
