Presented herein is a compilation of essays dedicated to Ushaa HaraNa, a grand Mahaakaavya (Sanskrit epic) penned by the illustrious 13th-century scholar Sri Trivikrama Panditacharya—a brilliant work worthy of comparison to the five classic epics of Sanskrit literature.

This volume was inaugurated during the 90th Birth Anniversary celebrations of Sri Bannanje at Sri Krishna Vrundavana, Houston, USA, on May 16, 2026. It is our earnest hope that this humble offering (Alilu Seve) serves as an inspiration for Sanskrit institutions and educators across the globe to adopt Ushaa HaraNa into their regular course of study.

This is a kannada translation of a rare work by Sri Vijayiindra tiirtharu written as a rebuttal to Appaya Dikshata's works questioning supremacy of Vishnu. Sri Undarchar has done painstaking effort in translating the original Sanskrit work into Kannada. This is a critical reading for scholars interested into build deeper understanding of the concept of supremacy of Vishnu in the vEdic hierarchy.
